33rd Birthday

Dear Partners in Ministry,

Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Packing is now in full swing and plans are developing for a ready environment when entering Masaka. Kristy and I are longing to return to Uganda to continue implementing plans for present and future ministry. God frequently reminds us His way is perfect, and amidst trials and waiting, blessings abounded.

Elijah Update:

Elijah’s strength is astounding. Now just under 11 pounds he has no problem flexing his muscles when things are not going his way. :-} The part I love is spit up finding its way on all the different parts of my upper body. Thank the Lord my mouth has been exempt from this list. Elijah is exuding good health.

Elementary School Update:

The Lord has given us two teachers to begin training for positions in our elementary school. Please lift up these names to the Lord on a regular basis: Pross and Sebyoto. God has also provided us with a good start on textbooks that we will shipping to Uganda shortly. We still need A Beka Book and Bob Jones curriculum for 1st – 6th grades.

Ministry Update:

What a joy and encouragement to be in many of our local supporting churches. Ten churches have been on our tour, and the blessings from each were overflowing. The greatest joy was to discover how many individuals have been praying for us and following closely the trials we faced. Such a comfort covers our soul to know our supporting churches put such a high priority regarding prayer. This emphasis will give us the strength and discernment needed to accomplish God’s will for us.

In His Service,

Tony & Kristy Applegate
