Dear Partners in Ministry,
"Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God" 1 Corinthians 10:31
Oh, the longing to see Ugandan people praising God swells in our minds. Manifesting God's glory through our feeble human vessel promotes His very command to go into all the world and preach the gospel. As you give the gospel and walk in holiness, God is glorified and lives are changed.
Baby Update:
Only 10 ½ weeks left till Eliana is due to enter God's majestic creation. Kristy and Eliana are doing very well. The normal stretching, growing and back pain continues to develop in Kristy's small frame. I had to "scold" Eliana for a flurry of strong kicks she gave daddy while his arm was resting on momma's stomach! I was pleased that Eliana minded well and the kicking ceased. :-)
Building Update:
Thank you for your prayers and support regarding the school building being erected. The missions team from Oxford, Alabama had a very successful trip to Uganda. The outside structure is now finished with the exception of windows and doors. Trinity Baptist Church put on the roof and did all electrical wiring for the building. They were also a special blessing to our co-workers Keith and Sally Stensaas. The team did some special electrical wiring and painting for Keith's house. Thank you very much Trinity Baptist Church missions team.
Monthly Support Update:
We received another $1500 dollars for our pothole/dirt-trail-navigating vehicle. Just $100 will put us at our goal of $12,000. Praise the Lord!!
Ministry Update:
June started with a flurry of business. BIMI candidacy school was tiring but very profitable. Our pastor, David Strehlow, flew down to Chattanooga, TN, for the pinning ceremony. It was an honor for us to have him participate in the ceremony with us. During the middle of June we were the missionary speakers at Amazing Grace Baptist Camp and were blessed to share missions with a group of juniors. A few of them have written us e-mails since camp declaring how God worked in their heart regarding foreign and home missions. What a joy to be able to give our burden to a group of juniors and see God work in their lives.
In His Service,
