Doctrinal Statement

April 2004

“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever:  with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”

Lamentations 3:25

Dear Partners in Ministry,

“What a wonderful change in my life has been wrought since Jesus came into my heart.”  This song resounds forth many times a year in worship services, but how many Christians take time to meditate on the immense ramifications of a life changed by Christ?  God reminded me this month of what salvation brought to my life. I am a “child of the King” and “joint heir with Christ.”  Understanding the kinships which salvation entitles produces a genuine peace and trust which passes all this world’s understanding.  I encourage you to ponder your position in Christ.

Vehicle Update:  Praise the Lord we have received $200 more for the vehicle fund, which brings our grand total to $9450.  Just $2550 to go!

Monthly Support Update:  The 62% of support has not moved since our last monthly report, but there are some promising possibilities for May.

Building and Update:    A church from Alabama is sending a group of carpenters and electricians to put on a roof and do the electrical wiring for our Christian School. They are planning to arrive the end of May.  We need $2200 by the first of May to finish the walls and ring beam so that the roof can be put on and electrical wiring installed.  Praise the Lord for the provision of money for architectural plans, leveling of ground, foundation, and part of the walls.

Ministry Update:  This has been another month full of travel, and we were again blessed to meet up with several friends.  Julie Plonk, a friend from Guam who was also in our wedding, came to a meeting and surprised Kristy by also bringing two of Kristy’s former students, now at BJU, to the service.  What a wonderful time of reminiscing.  The Lord also allowed us to make some great new friends as we traveled this month.  What a great God we serve!  We had a special blessing while in Georgia. Two teenage ladies raised their hands that they felt God leading them to the foreign field.

In His Service,

CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS: Pray for the collection of the remaining amount on our vehicle fund.  Pray for souls to be saved and Christians to be called to the foreign mission field while we travel on deputation.  Pray for $2200 to come in quickly so the school building in Uganda can be finished this summer. (For more details on the building, please contact us.)  Pray that our ultrasound on May 7 will be conclusive and accurate!!  (We are packing for 4 years!)
