Dear Partners in Ministry,
"But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
I praise the Lord for His mercy in giving us another year to glorify His name. Kristy and I had a wonderful time with my parents and family over the Christmas and New Year Holidays. Memories of my childhood Christmases came flooding back when I saw my nephew scurrying around staring wide-eyed at presents, but the clincher was when he said the Christmas story along with my mom using a nativity to act out the passage. My sister and I had a tradition of saying and acting out the Christmas story with a nativity each year while sitting around my grandparents' fireplace.
January has been a bit slower regarding meetings, but the extra time of studying God's Word and resting have been refreshing. We enjoyed visiting with Dr. John and Letha Hash, Kristy's long-time friends. Now is a time of refueling and reviewing our fall schedule while planning meetings for the remainder of the year.
Monthly Support Update:
The Lord has given us two more supporting churches since the beginning of the New Year. (Calvary Baptist Church-Emporia, Kansas, and East River Baptist Church-New Caney, TX) We also received a very generous donation from an individual to help with the large expenses we will incur while setting up in Uganda. God continues to increase our faith as we see Him answer prayers.
Ministry Update:
Kristy and I are excited to see what 2004 will hold for us in ministry. We are praying for God to use us in seeing souls saved and experiencing Christians called to the foreign mission field during our deputation journeys. We hope your vision has been rekindled as ours has to glorify God with every aspect of our lives.
